Bipolar Disorder is conceptualized as a chronic disease of a neuropsychiatric nature. Among pharmacological interventions, a drug that has been investigated for its application in the treatment of BD is the anticonvulsant lamotrigine. In this context, systematic reviews synthesized information on outcomes evaluated patients treated with lamotrigine, which may result in helping to improve the clinical condition presented and the patient's quality of life. Thus, the objective of this project is to gather evidence of efficacy, safety and tolerability of lamotrigine in patients diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, through an overview. |
