الوصف: This paper describes the design and development of channel amplifier and lineariser functions for Ka band satellite payloads. The units combine the latest expertise in electrical design and technological implementation. GaAs MMIC technology is used to realise all the functions needed in the microwave section while advanced packaging techniques, such as low temperature cofiring ceramic, are employed to obtain a very compact and lightweight design.
