الوصف: | (ZrO2)0.90(Sc2O3)0.10 − x (Fe2O3) x solid solutions have been studied by X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy. The results demonstrate that heat treatment in the range 1420–1810 K destabilizes the fluorite-type structure (C-ZrO2) of the Fe-free (x = 0) material and stabilizes it in the Fe-containing samples (0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.05). The increase in the stability of the high-temperature cubic form of zirconia can be accounted for by the influence of ScFeO3 dissolved in C-ZrO2. |
