Tourism is offered as a tourist product composed by different elements that complement it with the tourist's experience, where the geographic area and its components are involved. Currently there is a type of tourism activity called community based tourism which is a form of tourism that has different conceptual connotations. Tourism marketing provides elements that should be considered in community management. Community based tourism proposed as an activity and approach of development in the communities, that becomes an element that improves the habitant`s lifestyle. According to this proposal, the aim was to evaluate the social-cultural, economic, environmental and tourist potential aspects in Quilotoa Zumbahua-Ecuador. The non-experimental research with transversal character and relational scope where is shown that the development of tourism activities are the main income for the community. Moreover, the cultural conservation increases the interpersonal relationships in the community, it allows tourism become not only an economic component, otherwise permissible in the revaluation of culture, protection of natural resources and social development. So the proposal resulting from the research directed us to identify the aspects that constitute the base of community tourism to analyze the relationships between socio-cultural, economic, environmental and tourism potential elements through the Spearman correlation.
