الوصف: Računanje na rubu mreže odnosi se na tehnologije koje omogućuju izvođenje računanja na rubu mreže. Ovdje definiramo "rub" kao bilo koji računalni i mrežni resurs na putu između izvora podataka i podatkovnih centara u oblaku. EdgeX je jednostavna platforma za računanje na rubu koja nudi REST sučelje za upravljanje uređajima. Kod EdgeX platforme ima još mjesta za napredak, s obzirom da ne postoji mogućnost uklanjanja uređaja pomoću REST zahtjeva. Koncept symbIoTe Smart Spacea zamišljen je tako da se omogući interoperabilnost platformi te da se na ujednačen način dolazi do podataka s raznih platformi i da se uz pomoć njega na isti ujednačeni način aktiviraju aktuatori. Problem symbIoTe Smart Spacea je u loše napisanim uputama. Naime, uz pomoć samih uputa teško je shvatiti što se treba napraviti i kojim redoslijedom. U sklopu ovog rada dodan je jedan simulirani temperaturni senzor i jedan simulirani aktuator za podešavanje najniže i najviše temperature u prostoriji u EdgeX platformu, te je EdgeX platforma (skupa sa senzorom i aktuatorom) dodana u symbIoTe Smart Space. Edge computing refers to technologies that enable computing on the edge of the network. Here we define the "edge" as any computing and network resource on the way between data sources and a data center in the cloud. EdgeX is a simple platform for computing on the edge that offers a REST-based interface for device management. EdgeX platform has room for improvement, as it is not possible to remove devices by using REST requests. The symbIoTe Smart Space concept is designed to enable platform interoperability and to access data from different platforms in a uniform way as well as to actuate actuators in the same uniform way. A problem related to the symbIoTe Smart Space is poorly written documentation. With help of the instructions themselves, it is difficult to understand what needs to be done and in which order. Within this work, a simulated temperature sensor and a simulated actuator, for setting the lowest and highest temperatures in a room, were added in the EdgeX platform, and the EdgeX platform (along with the sensor and actuator) was added to the Symbol Smart Space.
