| مستخلص: | A self‐care framework is useful in obstetric nursing when patients are eager to accept responsibility for their own health via self‐care actions. A model framework is presented for use by family‐centered obstetric nursing. A case study emphasizes patient involvement in planning nursing care and setting health goals. |
