مستخلص: This paper provides an overview of methodologies used for vermicomposting at Bannerghatta Biological Park (zoo), Bangalore India. The effectiveness of two earthworm species, Eisenia foetida and Eudrilus eugena in composting zoo waste comprising of hippo dung, leaf litter and vegetable/fruit waste into vermicast and time taken is indicated.
