مستخلص: The article discusses a study concerning carotenoid value addition of through mixed-culture and monoculture fermentation of phaffia rhodozyma and sporobolomyces roseus. It shows that P. Rhodozyma produced the highest yield of astaxanthin while S. Roseus produced the highest β-carotene yield. It adds that carotenoid enrichment potentially allows animal feeds to enter the aquaculture feed market.
