Highlights from the article: Our resident-run radiology consultation service aims to reduce inappropriate inpatient imaging and engage radiology residents in quality improvement. Our experience highlights the value of a radiology consultation service and explores the impact of different consultation approaches on patient management and resident education. In July 2016, a radiology PACS workstation was installed in the internal medicine resident call room. |
