مستخلص: Through the measurements of magnetothermopower on NaCo2-xFexO4, we find that the spin entropy is suppressed by doping with high-spin Fe3+ (S=5/2) which is revealed by Mössbauer spectra. The Mössbauer spectra and magnetic properties indicate that the Co4+ concentration is enhanced by Fe doping. A suitable theoretical model is adopted to explain commendably the spin entropy suppression. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
