The article presents a case study of a 36-year-old male patient with multiple sclerosis, who previously underwent disease-modifying therapy (DMT), shifted to natalizumab (NZB) therapy due to rapid neurological deterioration. It showed a negative result of the skin prick test with NZB solution, however, the intradermal test revealed a positive result. It concluded that a progressive reduction of total immunoglobulin E (IgE) levels could be associated to a successful desensitization to NZB. |
