The article highlights the research paper "A Siberian Link with Na-Dene Languages," by Professor Edward Vadja and colleagues. The report shows that the linguistic patterns of Ket and the Na-Dene languages have some similarities. It notes that only about 100 people, all over the age of 50, can speak Ket fluently, evidence that both the language and culture are disappearing.
