The article presents an abstract of the study "Venom of Cobra Naja Kaouthia Contains Several Forms of Nerve Growth Factor." Nerve Growth Factor is found in snake venoms where their function is obscure. Trying to isolate this factor from Naja kaouthia venom the study found several polypeptides, demonstrating the NGF-like activity in neoplastic chromaftin cells. |
