A correction notice was issued for a study on replacing mineral fertilizer with nitrified human urine in hydroponic lettuce production. The corrections involved adjustments to the calculated carbon footprint reductions attributed to the urine treatment, as well as changes in the amounts and carbon footprints of fertilizers used in the experiment. The revised data showed a 20.52% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions due to the urine fertilizer treatment, compared to the previously reported 34.25%. The authors affirmed that the scientific conclusions remained unchanged, and the correction was approved by the Academic Editor. [Extracted from the article] |
