This research is an applied study of a great principle of interpretation, which is interpreting the Qur'an with the Qur'an. It aims to identify the approach of a scholar, Imam Abu Jaafar Al-Tahawi, may God have mercy on him, in his application of this great principle, and the paths he took in linking the verses to each other, by collecting the places in which he interpreted the Qur'an with the Qur'an in his book: (Ahkam Al-Qur'an), and identifying the features of his approach in that, I followed the approach of induction, analysis and deduction, as I read the book Ahkam Al-Qur'an by Al-Tahawi, and extracted what it contained of interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an, so I analyzed it and deduced his approach from it, and the research reached several results, including: That interpreting the Qur'an with the Qur'an is considered a prominent feature in the book Ahkam Al-Qur'an by Imam Al-Tahawi, and he has an apparent effort in linking the verses to each other, which had an impact on the interpreters from After him, Imam Al-Tahawi diversified between the identical concept and the expanded concept in his application of interpreting the Qur'an by the Qur'an, according to the paths that were deduced in this study, and the aspects of his method in that reached sixteen aspects, and his expressions varied in linking the verses to each other. هذا البحث عبارة عن دراسة تطبيقية لأصل عظيم من أصول التفسير وهو تفسير القرآن بالقرآن يهدف إلى التعرف على منهج عالم من العلماء، وهو الإمام أبو جعفر الطحاوي رحمه الله في تطبيقه لهذا الأصل العظيم، والمسالك التي سلكها في جانب ربط الآيات بعضها ببعض، من خلال جمع المواطن التي فسر فيها القرآن بالقرآن في كتابه (أحكام القرآن والتعرف على معالم منهجه في ذلك اتبعت فيه منهج الاستقراء والتحليل والاستنباط حيث استقرأت كتاب أحكام القرآن للطحاوي، واستخرجت ما فيه من تفسير للقرآن بالقرآن، فقمت بتحليلها واستنباط منهجه من خلالها، وقد خلص البحث إلى عدة نتائج منها : أن تفسير القرآن بالقرآن يعتبر سمة بارزة في كتاب أحكام القرآن للإمام الطحاوي، وله اجتهاد ظاهر في ربط الآيات ببعضها، كان لها تأثير على المفسرين من بعده، وقد نوع الإمام الطحاوي بين المفهوم المطابق والمفهوم الموسع في تطبيقه لتفسير القرآن بالقرآن، وفق مسالك تم استنباطها في هذه الدراسة، وقد بلغت جوانب منهجه في ذلك ستة عشر جانبا، كما تنوعت عباراته في ربط الآيات ببعضها.
