مستخلص: Having good dental hygiene is crucial to preserving overall health and wellness. In addition, it can stop gum disease, early childhood caries, systemic illnesses and other issues. Early childhood caries is a global health risk due to its high prevalence. Educating children on age-appropriate oral hygiene practices is one of the most important steps in preventing dental caries. Public opinions are shaped by dental content shared on social media platforms like Google, Instagram, and YouTube. All Hindi-language videos were viewed and assessed from the search results according to features like text overlays or sounds, cartoons, tunes for brushing teeth, or kid-friendly educational content. Videos of any duration were also included. According to the videos uploaded by individuals they were further categorized as videos uploaded by healthcare professionals and non-healthcare professionals. The videos with a score of 0 were evaluated as 'not useful', those with scores between 1 and 3 as 'slightly useful', those with scores between 4 and 7 as 'moderately useful' and those with scores between 8 and 11 as 'very useful'. The mean of the total number of views on the videos was 4672776.4. The mean interaction rate was 2.319625. From all the videos, which were viewed and evaluated 71.1% were found to be slightly useful, with 26.9% found to be moderately useful, and only 1.92% were found to be not useful. In conclusion. YouTube is a resource for education, but because a disproportionate amount of content is uploaded by non-health professionals, some of the information can be misleading. As a result, medical professionals should post more current, accurate content that will benefit viewers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
