This letter published in the Blood Cancer Journal discusses limited stage high-grade B-cell lymphoma with MYC, BCL2, and/or BCL6 rearrangements. The authors conducted a retrospective analysis of patients with this lymphoma and found that intensive chemotherapy and R-CHOP had similar survival rates. The study also found that patients with DH-BCL2 had poorer outcomes compared to those with DH-BCL6. The authors concluded that DH-BCL6 may not be an adverse prognostic factor and should be managed with less intensive regimens. Further investigation is needed to determine the role of radiation and CNS prophylaxis in these patients. [Extracted from the article] |
