Abstract (English): |
This research was conducted to examine the phenomenon of job satisfaction in the context of job stress and was carried out with 319 academicians working at a state university in the Western Black Sea region of Türkiye. In the research, the "Job Satisfaction" Scale was used to examine the job satisfaction of academicians, and the "A Job Stress Scale-20" was used to examine their job stress. The data obtained from the research revealed that female academicians' job stress was higher, and their job satisfaction was lower than the men who were examined for the research, and that academic staff aged 30 and under had higher job stress and lower job satisfaction than the older employees. İş tatmini olgusunu iş stresi bağlamında incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen bu araştırma, Türkiye'nin batı Karadeniz bölgesindeki bir devlet üniversitesinde çalışan 319 akademisyenle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda gerçekleştirilen araştırmada, akademisyenlerin iş tatminlerini incelemek amacıyla "İş Tatmini" ölçeğinden, iş streslerini incelemek amacıyla "A İş Stresi Ölçeği-20"den yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler, kadın akademisyenlerin iş stresinin erkeklere oranla daha yüksek ve iş tatmininin ise daha düşük olduğu; 30 yaş ve altındaki akademik personelin iş stresinin daha yüksek ve iş tatmininin ise daha düşük seviyelerde bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir.
