In order to celebrate the passing away of the typographer and bookseller Nicolae Milosescu (1858-1924) in January, at the "Alexandru Stefulescu" Gorj County Museum, a temporary exhibition was organized, paying homage to this illustrious son of Gorj. Held in high esteem for the quality of the printing products realized in Targu-Jiu, Nicolae Milosescu would be awarded the Knightly Order "The Crown of Romania" by King Charles I, on May 2, 1902, prior to which he had been granted the title of Supplier of the Royal Court of Romania.
