The article discusses research which aimed to determine the prevalence or the impact of financial hardship among people living with dementia (PLWD). Cited are the characteristics of study participants, measures of satisfaction with life and with health care among PLWD, compared to respondents with a new cancer diagnosis, and the correlation of financial hardship with worse reported satisfaction with life and health care. |
