مستخلص: This article discusses a case study of a 10-year-old girl who experienced a near-drowning accident and subsequently developed severe systemic mycosis, a fungal infection. The girl experienced various complications, including abscess-forming pneumonia, osteomyelitis, and meningitis. She also developed intracranial involvement with meningoencephalitis and cerebral lesions, as well as neurovascular involvement with vessel stenosis. The article highlights the challenges in treating childhood arterial ischemic stroke as a complication of severe systemic mycosis and emphasizes the importance of collaboration between specialists in pediatric neurology, infectious diseases, hemostaseology, and neuroradiology for successful treatment.
