Abstract (English): |
The objective was to understand the elements of resilience of undergraduate accounting course professors, based on the contextual factors of the COVID-19 pandemic. A qualitative approach was used through interviews based on semi-structured questions with professors of accounting courses located in the North, Northeast, Midwest, Southeast and South regions of Brazil. It was possible to identify the dimensions of resilience such as overcoming, adverse conditions, adaptation, interaction and adversity. It was observed that the professor's reinvention included the characteristics of the resilient professor, of adapting, interacting and surpassing himself in order to be able to meet the expectations of his academics. For this, the professors sought to remain motivated, were creative, persistent and used empathy to help fellow professors in difficulties. As research contributions, learning under adverse conditions can be mentioned, indicating four dimensions that emerged in the study: ability to reinvent, empathy, creativity and persistence. O objetivo foi compreender os elementos da resiliência dos docentes de graduação do curso de contabilidade, a partir dos fatores contextuais da pandemia COVID-19. Utilizou-se a abordagem qualitativa por meio de entrevistas a partir de questões semiestruturadas com docentes dos cursos de ciências contábeis localizados nas regiões Norte, Nordeste, Centro-Oeste, Sudeste e Sul do Brasil. Foi possível identificar as dimensões da resiliência como superação, condições adversas, adaptação, interação e adversidade. Observou-se que o reinventar do docente incluiu as características do professor resiliente, de adaptar-se, interagir e de se superar para ser capaz de atender aos anseios de seus acadêmicos. Para isso os docentes buscaram manter-se motivados, foram criativos, persistentes e usaram a empatia ao ajudar colegas docentes nas dificuldades. Como contribuições da pesquisa pode ser citado o aprendizado em condições adversas com a indicação de quatro dimensões que emergiram no estudo: capacidade de reinventar, empatia, criatividade e persistência.
