مستخلص: The article cites a study which found out that extensive degradation of nitrofen is exhibited in flooded soil compared to moist soil. The study seeks to investigate the degradation of carbon-nitrofen in soil under moist and flooded conditions using a continuous flow system in a laboratory. The study implicates that no significant mineralization of nitrofen was produced on the evolution of carbon dioxide and other organic volatiles in flooded soil in comparison with those in moist soil. In conclusion, the study reported that flooding enhances the degradation in nitrofen.
