مستخلص: Ti3AlC2 and Ti3SiC2 single-phase MAX phases were obtained by preliminary mechanical activation (MA) of initial mixtures of powder reactants in a high-energy planetary ball mill and subsequent self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS).
