| Abstract (English): |
For many reasons and factors, huge changes were imposed in higher education institutions, which relates to the internal quality assurance systems, especially its relationship with institutional frameworks and values like responsibility, and accountability. These factors were analyzed in the light of improving the ability of higher education institutions to achieve international quality standards instated of external accreditation. A total number of 114 staff at IAU have been enrolled in an online survey to answer the following question; what is the effectiveness of internal quality assurance systems at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) from faculty members' point of views at preparatory year deanship? The study argued significate differences in staff awareness on their responsibility towards internal quality system procedures based on their specializations and academic rank. These results have provided an analysis of the relationship between the effectiveness of internal quality assurance system and some institutional values and decision-making levels. تفرض آليات تطوير مؤسسات التعليم العالي نوعا من المتغيرات الداعمة لنظم ضمان وضبط جودة الأداء داخله وفقا لقيم المسؤولية الفردية والمحاسبية المؤسسية، حيث تبنت العديد من المؤسسات التعليمية نظم الجودة الداخلية كبديل عن نظيرتها من نظم الاعتماد المؤسسي أو البرامجي من المؤسسات والهيئات الإقليمية أو الدولية. وسعت الدراسة الحالية إلى الإجاب ة عن السؤال التا لي: ما فاعلية نظا م ضمان الجودة الداخلي لعمادة السنة التحضيري ة والدراسات المساندة بجامع ة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل من وجهة نظر أعضاء هيئة التدريس؟ واستخد مت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، لملاءمته لأهدافها، حيث اشتملت عينة الدراسة على استطلاع رأي) 114 (عضواً من أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بعمادة السنة التحضيرية والدراسات المساندة بجامعة الإمام عبد الرحمن بن فيصل من خلال استبانة الكترونية. وخلصت الدراسة إلى ارتباط قناعة أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية بآليات تطبيق نظام الجودة الداخلي بمجموعة من المتغيرات المرتبطة بدرجاتهم وتخصصاتهم العلمية، بالإضافة إلى ارتباط فاعلية تلك النظم بقيم المشاركة بين القائمين على تخطيط ورسم إجراءاتها والقائمين على تنفيذ تلك الإجراءات، وما تفرضه تلك النظم الداخلية من فاعلية مستويات اتخاذ القرار بين أفراد المؤسسة باختلاف مستوياتهم التنفيذية والإدارية.
