مستخلص: A descriptive analytic study was conducted in the Al-Yarmuk Teaching Hospital in Baghdad in the period from August 2018 to October 2018, to estimate the level of (FBG, HbA1-c, TC, TG, HDL, LDL, VLDL, GLP-1 and insulin) in diabetic patients. Two study groups were included, 35 apparently healthy person control subjects and 35 diabetic patients, (G1) represent control groups, (G2) represent diabetic groups. Average age is limited between (45-75 years). The blood sample were separated by centrifuge to get the serum that was analyzed by cobas (c111) to determine the (FBG, TC, TG, HDL, LDL, VLDL) and cobas (c411) instrument (automate quantitative enzyme immunoassay) to determine the insulin, HbA1-c assayed by HPLC procedure. Descriptive parameters of studies groups showed highly significant (p<0.01) in level of TC and VLDL at diabetic patients comparative with control group, but significant (p<0.05) in (TG), while non-significant (p>0.05) in level of HDL and LDL. Correlation coefficient in studies groups revealed highly significant between GLP-1 and lipid profile (p>0.05), while showed non-significant correlation between GLP-1 and FBG (p>0.05, r1 = -0.005) in G1, while highly significant (p<0.05,r2 = 0.598**) in G2, GLP-1 and HbA1c revealed negative highly significant (p<0.05, r1 = -.288) in G1 and significant (p<0.05, r2 = -0.051) G2, Correlation between GLP-1 and HbA1c revealed negative highly significant (p<0.05, r1 = -.288) in G1 and significant (p<0.05, r2 = -0.051) G2.
