مستخلص: Leadership that cultivates inclusiveness has implications for everything from better interpersonal relations, which we rely on to go about our lives, to better care for the world, which we need to live. In this symposium, panelists will discuss how aspects of love contribute to inclusive exchange at the interpersonal, team/cohort (including virtual), and operational/organizational levels. Panelists include researchers and practitioners in the philosophy and science of love as it relates to brain coherence and flourishing, interpersonal exchange in one-to-one relationships (including coaching/mentor and coachee/mentee relationships), the study of cohort relationships, virtual teaming and emotional intelligence (including the Virtual Emotionally Intelligent Leader model), and the operationalization of love in military command philosophy (including an example of a U.S. battalion in Afghanistan charged with clearing roads of IEDs). The panel will discuss the philosophical and neuroscientific foundation for the aspects of love that contribute to inclusive practices, including how those aspects inhere brain coherence, which can drive inclusive exchange for the greater good and inform leaders' awareness of the conditions for inclusiveness. Participants will learn how these aspects contribute to inclusiveness in interpersonal exchange at the individual, cohort and team (including virtual teaming), and organizational/operational levels. Participants will discover how love is a primary driver of inclusive practices and how the philosophy, neuroscience, psychology, and experience of love are changing the way we think literally, the way we use our brains remapping what we know about how humanity can posit itself to not only survive the challenges ahead, but thrive beyond them.
