مستخلص: The article informs on a new French Civil Code reform namely Article 1171 approved by the French President Francois Hollande related to the contract law. The law requires judges to strike out an unfair term from a contract; further it provides freedom of contract with increase in judicial Intervention. It also provides assessment of judicial power by providing a default rule of commercial impracticability similar to that in U.S. law.
