مستخلص: |
This article explores the progress made to measure the success of all types of motivational programs and events and to connect them to organizational success. It examines all types of motivational programs, including recognition, incentives, reward systems, motivational speakers, self-help programs, and other projects aimed at influencing and stimulating performance. A methodology to evaluate these programs is offered, using a logical framework for six types of data, including financial return on investment and a step-by-step process for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data as well as a set of conservative standards to generate results that are chief executive and chief financial officer friendly. This article unravels the mystery of the value of motivation and, more important, shows what must be done to make a nonperforming motivational program successful. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
