The article focuses on the SOIVRE Inspection Service and its relationship with the principle of mutual recognition in the European Union. The importance of this principle for the free movement of goods in the internal market is highlighted. The evolution of European legislation is mentioned, such as Regulation (EU) 2019/515, which aims to improve the application of mutual recognition. A specific case is detailed in which the application of mutual recognition to products imported from third countries is questioned, concluding that it is not applicable in that context.
