Aquaculture expects to keep up with the increase in consumption of fish in the world. The government in Japan is fostering an environment conducive to aquaculture growth. We study a next-stage system of aquaculture and predict the effect of innovations. We collected statistics on aquaculture management and interviewed managers in aquaculture companies and a mercantile firm. We constructed the model to include demand and prices using system dynamics based on these data. The model can simulate the scale of demand under new technology-introduced conditions. With an increase in yellowtail production volume, the demand is calculated and demonstrates the effects of the price. We will improve the model under the consideration of accounting conditions for sustainable management.
