Flynn-O'Brien and colleagues which analyzed data from children injured with a firearm across 128 trauma centers collected from the Trauma Quality Improvement Project (TQIP) database. Topics include demographic characteristics of youths in the study, implication of the missing data in the study regarding adverse childhood experiences (ACES), and the need to improve collection of data on preinjury and event-level factors related to pediatric firearm injury. |
