The Dmexco, a digital marketing trade fair, has a new management and aims for strategic development. The fair wants to become the most important event for CMOs and focuses on decision-makers. Dmexco works closely with the Federal Association of the Digital Economy (BVDW) and plans to strengthen cooperation with Digital X, the in-house trade fair of Deutsche Telekom. The satisfaction of exhibitors and guests is more important to the fair than the pure number of visitors. The admission price of Dmexco is lower compared to OMR in order to offer a low-threshold offer. Due to the Corona pandemic, Dmexco has not yet reached the level of earnings before the pandemic. The structure of exhibitors has changed, with some companies consolidating, others dropping out, and some new companies.
