Masdar earlier this year (2023) said in Abu Dhabi that the company-led initiative focused on green hydrogen to produce SAF is working with licensors to certify a new production pathway for SAF from methanol. Renewables developer Masdar has inked an agreement with Airbus, a French aeronautics and space company, to support the development and growth of the global sustainable aviation fuel market.
