The article presents a study on drug overdose deaths in the U.S. and effect of narcotic antagonist Naloxone administration in case of pain relieving drug, opoid-induced overdosed conditions. Topics discussed include analysis on effects of Naloxone to patients, approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to Naloxone therapy and findings of the study showing reduced death rates due to drug overdose, by timely administration of Naloxone. |
