The name of this publication „The music image of Victorian era in the cycle of John Golsworthy novels "The Forsyte Saga" ". This article is devoted to the problems of music influence on everyday life of the Victorian society. Music accompanied the Victorian man in all moment of his life. Music helped him to find himself in difficult moments of his life and gave possibility to get some additional earnings. As a result, the author comes to the conclusion, that John Golworthy in the cycle of novels „The Forsyte Saga” perfectly transmitted the spirit and numerous function of music in the Victorian era.
