The article presents a study which investigates the effects of touch screen technology on the usability of electronic reading (E-reading) devices. The study compares three types of devices such as the two e-readers with e-ink display with touch screen and the Sony PRS 505 in the absence of touch screen, and another one the Apple iPad with multiple touch screen. Results show the better navigation ratings of e-reading devices with touch screen as compared to a device without touch screen. |
