The article discusses the application of the concept of "moral luck" in the case "United States v. Muoghalu" involving a hospital pharmacist. The case led to a conviction of a hospital pharmacy director by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit for soliciting and receiving kickbacks in violation of federal law. It demonstrates that the concept of moral luck can be applied to all practice settings and administrative decisions. |
