The article reports on the initiative between Wheelock College and Eagle Academy for Young Men in the SouthBronx and Boston Public Schools to fill the need for African-American and Hispanic male teachers in the U.S. African-American and Hispanic male teachers in schools have showed interest in pursuing a career in education by attending classes on leadership and teamwork in August 2009.
