This study examines the complex interplay between linguistic structures and poetic meaning in Lucian Blaga's Marine Sunset and Mihai Eminescu's Lida, employing pragmatic-semiotic analysis to reveal distinct mechanisms of poetic construction. In Blaga's Marine Sunset, the research demonstrates how a seemingly transparent poem conceals multiple levels of meaning, where the title evolves from a simple descriptor to a complex metaphor through many-to-one analysis. The poem's progression from contemplative observation to cosmic participation reveals Blaga's characteristic engagement with the mysteries of the Great Anonymous, exemplifying his modern, pluri-univocal poetic style. In contrast, Eminescu's early work Lida is analyzed through the lens of "multiple reflections", where the figure of mirroring serves as both a structural device and a semantic operator. The study reveals how this mechanism generates fictionalization through the transition from referential reality to secondary text, creating a sophisticated play of perspectives. This comparative analysis illuminates how both poets employ distinct textual strategies: Blaga through layered meanings that progress toward the noosphere, and Eminescu through mirrorworld constructs that invite deeper semantic readings. The research contributes to a better understanding of Romanian poetic discourse by highlighting these poets' innovative approaches to poetic construction and meaning-making. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
