The autumn meeting of the Documentation Working Group in the German Museums Association took place from October 14th to 16th, 2024 at the Zuse Institute in Berlin and focused on the importance of collections for object documentation. Topics discussed included the documentation of scientific collections at universities and the development of the International Computer Games Collection. Other topics included the digitization of archive materials from the Freien Deutschen Hochstift and the general inventory of the collection of the Historical Museum Basel. Die Herbsttagung der Fachgruppe Dokumentation im Deutschen Museumsbund fand vom 14. bis 16. Oktober 2024 im Zuse-Institut in Berlin statt und thematisierte die Bedeutung von Sammlungen für die Objektdokumentation. Diskutiert wurden unter anderem die Dokumentation von wissenschaftlichen Sammlungen an Universitäten und die Entwicklung der Internationalen Computerspielesammlung. Weitere Themen waren die Digitalisierung von Archivmaterialien des Freien Deutschen Hochstifts und die Generalinventur der Sammlung des Historischen Museums Basel.
