مستخلص: Hydrogen transport systems, in particular hydrogen aviation, are becoming increasingly integrated into our lives. The article presents a starter-generator system of a hydrogen aircraft based on a direct frequency converter with natural commutation. A special feature of the system is the use of a direct frequency converter with natural commutation as the main electrical energy converter as part of the starter-generator system. At the same time, a direct frequency converter with natural commutation allows the starter-generator system to operate both in the mode of generating electrical energy and in the mode of electric starting of an auxiliary power unit or propulsion engine using a synchronous generator. An algorithm for analyzing electromagnetic processes in a direct frequency converter with natural switching as part of a starter-generator system is proposed and examined in detail, as an example, for a single-phase output converter. Using the spectral calculation method, the switching functions of the converter valves were determined, an expression for the load current was found, and its spectral composition was determined. The article presents the result of computer modeling of the system under study, which allows us to confirm the validity of the proposed method for analyzing the electromagnetic processes of the system.
