مستخلص: The current study focuses on investigating the removal of methyl orange dye using green-synthesized copper oxide nanoparticles derived from Amorphophallus paeoniifolius tubers. The nanoparticles were characterized using various techniques, including UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX). Key parameters for adsorption, such as pH, contact time, adsorbent amount, and initial dye concentration, were examined. Additionally, the energy requirements for the pseudo-first and pseudo-second-order kinetic models were evaluated. This green synthesis method is efficient, cost-effective, and time-saving, leading to the production of copper oxide nanoparticles on a large scale. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
