The article discusses the discovery of a new early Permian tetrapod footprint assemblage in Beijing, China, known as the Mentougou Ichno-fauna. These footprints provide evidence of terrestrial tetrapods in eastern Pangea, supporting the hypothesis of an early collision between the North China Block and Pangea.
