Mercedes Giuffré is a writer of the detective genre set in the colonial viceroyalty. The series stars Samuel Redhead, a surgeon trained in the London of the Hunter brothers, who becomes a detective when he must perform a series of autopsies, suspected of murder. Blood Debt (2008); The Weight of Truth (2010); The Chariot of Death (2011); Souls in Sorrow (2017); The Assault (2023). Mercedes Giuffré es una escritora del género policial ambientado en la época del virreinato colonial. La serie protagonizada por Samuel Redhead, médico cirujano formado en el Londres de los hermanos Hunter, se convierte en un detective cuando debe realizar una serie de autopsias, sospechadas de asesinatos. Deuda de sangre (2008); El peso de la verdad (2010); El carro de la muerte (2011); Almas en pena (2017); La asonada (2023).
