Abstract (English): This article reflects on the doctrine of the resurrection of the body based on the author's personal experience with multiple sclerosis. It analyzes the treatment that Paul and the evangelist John give to the resurrected body in 1 Corinthians 15 and John 20, respectively. The author questions whether the wounds and illnesses of the body will remain in the afterlife and raises questions about healing and liberation in the resurrection. It also explores the appearance of the resurrected Christ to Thomas and reflects on the nature of resurrected bodies and their wounds. The text speaks about the importance of recognizing wounds as visible manifestations of virtuous character. It mentions that the wounds in Jesus' hands and side are analogous to war wounds that reveal the virtues of the bearer. The question of how the Church's teaching on the resurrection of the body can help discern the meaning of injuries for faith is also raised. The need for a theology of the body that is aware of our wounds is mentioned, and the idea that wounds can be transfigured without being erased is proposed. Additionally, the importance of recognizing the sacramentality of our wounds is discussed, and the question of whether sacramentality also applies to despair is raised. [Extracted from the article]
