This issue has three branches: the first section is the punishment that is required of a Muslim for cursing the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and the second branch: the punishment of a dhimmi for blaspheming the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the effect of his conversion to it, and the third branch is the punishment of an infidel for slandering the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and the effect of his conversion to it. The researcher presented these branches and the issues that fall under them, mentioning the sayings of the scholars in them, and discussing them with evidence, giving preference to what he deems appropriate, then he presented the crime of insulting the prophets, peace be upon them, and its penalties in international law. He presented this issue by showing the importance of human rights in the modern era.
