Its description, history, importance, and sources, with an explanation of the nature of the Egyptian-Hijazi-Najd relations, then he talked about the motives of the trip, indicating that it is related to the issue of the Egyptian medical mission, and economic motives related to the benefits of the Egyptian economy from the pilgrimage and how to exploit it, and the second section was a presentation of a text The report, in which the author gave a brief about the city’s history and its historical importance, ancient and modern, showing its economic and geographic importance, and its connection with other cities; Like Jeddah and Yanbu, then he talked about its economic wealth from agricultural products and light industries, and the report was presented in the third section of the health system in the city, describing the health situation in the city, and the state of hospitals in it, and touched on the issue of housing and drinking water, describing its sources, and referring to religious landmarks. and civil ones, such as mosques, takayas, and palaces, then the report presented the Egyptian goods that can be promoted in the Hijaz, and the customs duties imposed on them, as well as the means of developing Egyptian commercial activity in Medina and the Hijaz region in general, which the Consul considered aspects in which Egypt could play a prominent role.
