The study aims to identify the activities and services in which the computer is used in these libraries, and the impact of using the computer in increasing the level of performance in those libraries, saving time, and raising the level of effectiveness, in addition to identifying the problems and obstacles that the libraries subject of the study encounter when calculating them, and the extent to which These libraries cooperate with each other in the field of computing, as well as their cooperation with other types of libraries in the Kingdom, and future plans to develop the computing of these libraries. The study concluded that the use of computers in public libraries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a positive impact on their performance in all the areas addressed, as it led to increased productivity, improved quality of services, saved time, and raised the level of effectiveness.
