A approach for sloving the time-dependent wave function in quantum scattering problem is done in the interaction picture. The conventional wave packet method, which directlt sloves the time-dependent Schrodinger equation, normally requires a large number of grid points since the Schrodinger picture wave function both travels and spreads in time. There are two for using interactiion picture wave function. The first,a numerical gridn is required due to the localized nature of picture wave function,since it's not a traveling wave and doesn' t in coordinate space.The second,the interaction picture wave slowly with time and is essentially independent ofng the use of a large time in the numerical integrate the time dependent and obtain S matrix and K matrix (tangent of phase shift) for s d wave.
